Root Symphony W25

Today i will tell you how you can root your symphony w25.

Requirement:
a) Laptop or PC ( I used w7-32)
b) Symphony W25 & Cable
c) Custom ROM download it from here & keep it on your sd card ( do not change file  name or do not extract it. File name update.zip)
d) Finally i have no responsibility if damage your phone or void warranty.

Let we can start now

1) 1. First of all, you need Drivers For your symphony W25.Download from here and install them while connecting your phone with USB debugging mode. Then disconnect the phone. Update driver
manually if it does not work automatically.
2. Download Android SDK from Android Developer and install in pc. Default installation Directory should be C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\
3. Download Clockwork Mod Recovery for w25 from Link  unzip and copy to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools folder .Replace duplicate (if prompted).
4. Hook your phone up with pc in USB debugging mode and go to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools folder, Press Shift+right click inside that folder and select open cmd window here It opens a cmd window for that folder. In the cmd window, type

Code:

adb devices

If all the installations are correct, you’ll see your device connected as w650 (as symphony is re-branded from k-touch w650)
5.Reboot your phone into the bootloader, by turning it off and holding [vol-up]+[power]
(Disconnect phone from pc if you like)


Till screen turns green and says fastboot:recovery ?,
6.Plug your phone into your computer if it’s not already. On cmd window, type:

fastboot devices

Reply should be “???????????? fastboot” Meanng fastboot detected the device.
7.In the cmd line, type

Code:

fastboot boot recovery-english.img

And that’s it. You’ll have booted into the custom recovery (cwmr), and from there you can do a full backup, or restore a backup, or wipe the phone. Use vol up/down to navigate through screen and Power to select an item.

8. You should back up your current rom.Use CWMr to backup your ROM. (It will be saved in: “SD card/clockwork mod/backup” on phone.) and reboot. Copy the backup into pc for further use.
9. Now In CWMr,
a)]Go to Advanced
b) Choose “Wipe dalvik-cache” & select “yes”
c) Now go back & choose “Mounts & Storage”
d) Choose “Format /cache” & select “yes”
e) Go back & choose ” install zip from sdcard”
f) Browse & select “update.zip” from your sdcard. Then press ok
then select “yes update”
h) Wait for few times, untill update complete.
i) After update complete, go back & select reboot systyem now.
j) Now restart your phone it can take few minutes, becase first time it.
After open your phone, just change your language from ” language & keyboard menu”
k)You can enjoy your rooted symphony w25 now. If any question or suggestion just comments here.
